![]() to the top of the mountain while my sister waited in line for the lift and still got to the top 15 minutes before she did. Constant 30-40 minute lines to get on the lift. No one wearing masks.Įven outside the complete lack of covid precautions, the crowd control was a joke. People who requested to ride the lift solo were denied, given attitude, and forced to ride with strangers. Employees got upset with us when we didn't pack against other people waiting in line while trying to maintain literally any semblance of social distancing. "We believe that we can satisfy need for connection and recreation while maintaining a healthy distance from each other," they say.Ībsolutely no effort made to prevent crowding, in fact the employees were all actively FORCING people to crowd closer together. Thunder ridge has an entire page dedicated to their "Covid-19 Prevention Statement." The entire page is an absolute lie. In all, I definitely recommend and will be back. This is prevalent at ALL resorts so can't blame Thunder Ridge for it, as it can be difficult to control even with ski patrol. I enjoy bombing down trails too, but I slow the hell down when near people, especially little kids If you are flying down a trail, use your brain sometimes and leave ample space for beginners and little kids. If you are guilty of this.Don't be an ahole. At times, one would fly pass me a few inches away, although there was ample space on the trail. The only complaint I can say about this place is that there are RECKLESS RIDERS (kids in groups) at times bombing down the trails passing little kids and other beginners with no F*CKS whatsoever. I'm a seasoned boarder and have been to other bigger resorts throughout the years, but really enjoy the smaller resorts like Thunder Ridge to be honest. Good bunny slopes for beginners to learn on. They were very good, however not worth the trip or money they charge.įun ski resort. The ONLY thing I liked there were 2 statues of Native Americans. Maybe views? I've seen much better views that do not require fees. Worthless waste of time, money, anything you name it. I really would like to understand the purpose of this place and why people would pay to go there.Īdd to this a location in the middle of nowhere and gas prices to get there. A misleading name, unclear purpose, strange concept, 4! people working. There are a few hiking trails, but to enter this so-called "museum" you need to pay at least $10 per person. The rest of that land can be called a farm, but there are no animals or gardens. The Native American museum had 2 rooms with 3! paintings, 3! rugs, a few bowls and 1 boat. The art museum has 3 rooms with a horrendous smell and about 5-6 contemporaty art objects. The 2 museums they have - an art museum and a Native American museum can NOT have the status of a museum. Very misleading name and disappointing experience. I took tons of pictures but I’m only adding a few to this post because you really need to experience it for yourself. ![]() I wouldn’t skip taking the time to visit this place. You will leave with so much more than you expected- it’s truly inspirational and motivational. Throughout the Hall, there are interactive exhibits and an extensive collection that walks you through the entire history of the Patriots to the now. You can tell he is a true Patriots fan! We loved it. It was fun and exciting for us to talk to him as he was thoroughly educated on the exhibits but also showed genuine interest in sharing his knowledge with us. He encouraged us to watch the historical film that was about to start in a few minutes and gave us some background on the exhibits in the meantime (you really do have to watch the film- it’s powerful). ![]() There was a greeter upon entering who was so helpful. I surprised him with tickets to The Patriots Hall of Fame and it was the most amazing experience for us. My husband was born and raised in Boston but this was our first time visiting his home since we’ve been together.
